Reflective Problem Finding

The things that I learned about photography are that when you take your images you do not have to take them from in front you can take them looking down looking up,and also if you are going to take photography’s make sure you can include Motion, Perspective, Texture, Line and that is pretty much it.

The Scavenger hunt was very entertaining the part where I most liked was that the pictures we could choose our own websites and I chose National Geographic and it went amaxing the pictures where easy to find, something that It didn’t go so well was that the pictures didn’t paste where I wanted them to go but it posted somewhere and I did it at the end. And the3 most successful thing that I got to know a lot of Photos that I didn’t know existed and that is the thing that I liked the most.

I Just Didn't Use My Head

“I JUST DID NOT USE MY HEAD”

Are you the kind of person who hates Monday morning? Well I am one of those people, and I can tell you that a way to ruin my day is by stealing things from me. It was early morning 6:15 AM, and the first thing I heard was, “ALAN!!” roared out by Ezy  I did not want to answer him because I thought it was the same old joke from my brother Ezy, until I realized he was wearing my new favorite shoes. The first thing I knew then was that I couldn’t let him escape.

His first reaction when he saw me was to throw my shoes out of the window and run away into the house, “Noooooo” I screeched and of course I started to chase him. There was a point where he went around the whole house  about five times as fast as he could, until he locked himself in his room. I swelled in anger and my fist got crunched up and went directly into the door. ”Boommmmmm”!! The door cracked  from top to bottom, and my brother started crying. I was excited because I thought I had already caught him. Until I saw my mom with her big black eyes staring at me and my whole body stopped. I thought about what I was doing and then started to shake. “Mom but but he stole my sho” I cried back She slapped me as hard as she could and told me that I had to pay for his door plus taking off mine and giving it to him. I thought this punishment was not fair since children like me also have private things to do and need a door,  not just adults. Also  I spent my money often so at that time I was pretty much broke.       

What I learn from this is that from now on I will always use my head and think before acting. I hate losing my money and doors. I also felt a bit disappointed by my actions because I should have stopped and thought about it and maybe that wouldn't have happened. What was I thinking when I broke his door? From now on I would not care about what Ezy uses that is under my control. For the future I will change all my reaction and what I do when I don't like when they do something I hate I will try to be more positive and concern of what I am doing

“I Am”

I am positive and charming

I wonder what would happen if my parents wouldn’t have married

I hear people shouting at me to follow the right path, right now

I see how my parents are always there with and beside me all the time

I want to have great friends, great family, a great environment and  a great community

I am positive and charming

I pretend I am my dad, and act as if I was him, and pretend I have all his problems

I feel that people think I am a great person and have great attitude

I touch the humongous Western wall with all my future in it

I worry that I will be destroyed and in a depression for a year if my parents died

I cry when things remind me of my best service lady who was always there for me for 12 years

I am positive and charming

I understand how my home country is not the same as 20 years ago and I always have to listen to my parents

I say that Venezuela will have an incredible change in about fifteen years

I dream I will become a famous person and donate money to the people who will need it most

I try to maintain the same strong relationship with my family because there is nothing better than your family

I hope all of us could live forever

Pre Algebra Arts Integration Project Reflection

This is the arts integration project for math. This was a fun project to do, mine turned out really good and I think I did a good job on putting the right coordinates, so that the person would have a similar drawing as mine. I think I could make it a little bit more clear on the paper what the person was supposed to do, and overall they look alike. I am sure that it was creative to draw the empire state building.

Pre Algebra Chapter 3 test reflection

In this particular test I was away for one week, so I missed the test and needed to take it after school. I also needed to catch up with the rest of the class. I did my best and I think I got a good result.  I could have checked more carefully question number 5 but in general I did the test checking all my answers carefully. I think I did a good job and I feel happy with my grade.

Pantomimes

The thing that I would have improved on is that I could have been more serious and more quiet and try to be more of how the object, and we should try to make the scene like in real life, to make something that looks or feels like something real.

Researchers from the University of Oldenburg, Germany and the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Panama, collected 15 individual plants each of 9 common species of moss or bryophytes  found growing at cool higher altitudes in the tropics and transplanted them at lower altitudes where temperatures were warmer. 

Higher temperature can reduce a moss's photosynthesis and cause it to die, but this experiment proved otherwise.

For an experiment, some scientists planted some moss at different temperatures and the most tested species survived most at higher temperatures. And that is what is happening to the earth. The temperature is rising.

 I think that this is an interesting article because it is proven that global warming is bad for our planet, but it is good for one type of plant. And it could be hard to live with so much moss around us. So we need to be careful about global warming.

The Dutch architects are making a "climate-proof" small city that can maintain if the water level raises. They are expecting flooding in the countryside. The Dutch expect this to happen because of Global Warming.

I choose this article because I have always been interested in Global Warming. I also choose this article because I think it is really important for the world to know about it. Another reason I choose this article is because it says really interesting things about the people's reactions and things that they have done to protect themselves.

This is important because if Global Warming affects on earth this is a ways that we can protect ourselves. Also because if people are affected on any of the consequences, they now know where to go.

I'm pretty good at making things making sense at the things that we are improvising about because that is the my point of view of improvisation, I can be good at any of the things  but it sometimes depends on what we are supposed to do.
Sometimes I can do improve good if I'm very concentrated but sometimes in the morning I can be a little dizzy.

Water have been detected on the moon as crystalline mineral. Samples from the lunar highland obtained during the Apollo missions, according to a University of Michigan researcher and his colleagues.

The lunar highlands are thought to represent the original crust, crystallized from a magma ocean on a mostly molten early moon. The new findings indicate that the early moon was wet and that water there was not substantially lost during the moon's formation.

Liquid water cannot persist at the Moon's surface, and water vapour is decomposed by sunlight, with hydrogen quickly lost to outer space. However, scientists have since the 1960s conjectured that water ice could survive in cold, permanently shadowed craters at the Moon's poles.

Water may have been delivered to the Moon over geological timescales by the regular bombardment of water-bearing comets, asteroids and meteoroids or continuously produced in situ by the hydrogen ions (protons) of the solar wind impacting oxygen-bearing minerals.

Modern Chemistry

Our modern world is blessed with a wide array of products and services, health care options and medical treatments, gadgets and indulgences, all of which arrive on the scene with a rapidity that few of us can absorb. We find ourselves surprised and amazed by these wonderful innovations, and then we come to depend on them. What did we do before we had GPS, camera phones, brain scans and laser eye surgery?

The things that give us comfort and convenience and that improve our safety and health are the fruits of basic discoveries made decades ago in materials, software, computation, biology, chemistry and information technology, among other fields. And the rate at which new discoveries emerge from academic and government laboratories shows no sign of slowing. By such measures as academic papers and patent filings, science output continues to run as strong as or stronger than at any previous point in history. Moreover, with China, India and other nations coming onto the research scene in a big way, there is every reason to anticipate more great science in the future.

In September 20th 2013,an unusual cold summer happened in the Artic. The Artic sea ice appears to have reached its annual minimum summer extent in September 13 2013.The NASA supported the NSIDC in the University of Colorado. Analysis saw that the ice had shrunk 1.97 million square miles. This can mean many things like global warming or many other environments getting destroyed. I chose this article specifically for the global warming issues Earth is having right now.

On page 1399 of this issue, Kim et al. identify two new receptors for aggregated Aβ: the mouse paired immunoglobulin-like receptor B (PirB) and its human ortholog, leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor LilrB2 (2). The binding interaction triggers a signaling cascade that compromises the actin cytoskeleton of neurons and ultimately causes synaptic loss in a mouse model of AD.

  I chose this article because on Friday I saw this article on Multiple Sclerosis and I taught this article was related but as I discovered it is not. I still did this article about this because I have been always fascinated by genetics and germs.

I think this is an important piece of information because now that we know another possible cause for Alzheimer we can develop a cure for it. I think this is important news because we can study the Promiscus Amyloid's components to figure out if any of them contain a new thing.

Although numerous observations indicate that the cosmos is indeed flat, the deviations in the CMB data predicted by latest model — which the authors acknowledge is still speculative — could be small enough to fit within the limits imposed by measurements with the Planck satellite, says Liddle. Future experiments with measurements of improved precision however might determine who is right. 

I chose this article because it just instantly interested me, this could be a major discovery, just like discovering that the earth is round, and the best part, it was released the day before yesterday! My first thought was, "oh, cool!" but then i thought, "this could be revolutionary, and yet so few people know about this!" so I decided to write this article.

This is obviously important because this could be a piece basic logic that wasn't disposed to us before! Thousands of other important discoveries could be made thanks to this possible fact. 

Lily, a great Dane!

Lily is a great dane that lost his  sight  by cause of a rare desease. He was hopeless until he met Madison. They have been together for 5 years and Madison guides Lily by the leash. She touches him so Lily doesn´t stumble over anything.

I chose this topic because, Lily and Madison are a great example of true love. When I first read this article, I thought, ''Wow, this really touches me!'' And then, I couldn´t stop thinking about it. How would our lives be if we were all blind? Or how would I feel if I was blind?

This is important because, sometimes we get mad if we didn´t get the answers right on the test or even if we cant´t find something. This is more important and I bet Lily would absolutely prefer to lose something valuable and accept the punishment that will probably last for a couple of days, than to be blind for the rest of her life.

NASA's Deep Space Comet Hunter Mission Comes to an End

After 9 years in space NASA's deep space comet hunter mission comes to an end. This Comet Hunter has produced much more data than expected. It took 500,000 images of celestial objects. They have recently announced that the mission that the mission has ended after not being able to contact the space craft for over a month. It's main job in 2005 was to find out or investigate both the surface or interior composition of a comet and many other jobs!

I think this is important because who knows what other stuff we could of learned about if we would still be able to communicate with the space craft. We have learned a lot with this space craft and i'm sure that if it would still work we could learn more.

Not only was Mars once much more like Earth, with atmosphere, surface water and warmer temperatures, but it had a potentially key ingredient for life that was not available on our home world.

That buttresses a mind-bending   theory that life got its start on Mars and then spread to Earth, said biochemist Steven Benner, with the Foundation for Applied Molecular Evolution in Gainesville, Fla.Today, Mars is a cold, dry desert with a thin atmosphere that provides little protection from deadly solar and cosmic radiation. I chose this article because it's cool to know where everything truly comes from. I also chose it because it makes me think a lot, is this true? Should I research more about this? In my opinion this is a pretty interesting article. (click on the title to view)
This is an important hypothesis that might become a fact. This is important because there might still be life on mars, or at least there was, and that life spread to earth. How impressive, don't you think?

Kepler-22b is an extrasolar planet orbiting G-type star Kepler-22.^[7][8] It is located 600 light years away from Earth in the constellation of Cygnus. It was discovered by NASA's Kepler Space Telescope in 2011 and was the first known transiting planet to orbit within the habitable zone of a Sun-like star.

I think this discovery is important because Kepler 22-B can be the planet with life the question that all this century has been asking is their life on other planets are we alone. This is another step for science and for all man kind once we get the technology that we need to other planet further than our reach now we will discover new planets and life.
